Formal Gardens at Mellerstain on a Windy Day.

Took a snap video of the formal gardens at Mellerstain. It is a blustery and dampish day and the noise of the wind in the mike is unavoidable with this little handheld gizmo.

It'll get better in due course (or so I kid myself!).

I'm loving these garden videos! The first thing I thought was that I wanted to run barefoot in the grass. Then I saw the "house" - & thought lord what a house!

Thanks for giving us this glimpse into your life!

I love the addition of the music, it's so fitting. Philip, it's a breathtakingly beautiful garden, and so well tended! I'm so impressed by the oblong shaped shrubs, they're so grand.

Thank you again! I can't tell you how much fun it is to be sitting here in Colorado, and taking a tour of a garden on the Scottish Borders.

I enjoyed looking round the garden with you and the music in the background is very atmospheric. What's inside the house? Are you allowed to video in there?

Being new to your blog, I am going backwards from your latest then on into older posts. Very enjoyable to get a personal tour of these gardens. They are beautiful. You are fortunate to live in such a scenic area.
