Wintry Weather Continues in the Borders.

Just a swift update on our early wintry conditions.
No letup in sight for a few days more, worse luck!
We had one of our local farmers clear the little lane running along the 11 cottages in our remote village. Looks as though we will need further such help soon as it is snowing heavily right now.
Never mind; I'm sure global warming will soon return!

Oh that just looks beautiful & annoying!

Thanks Bug. This morning we found a good three inches more snow had undone some of yesterday's work in clearing a path. Still, the sun shines brightly right now so we are hoping things warm up a bit soon.

Actually Phillip we are surprising getting a bit of rain today not snow as it should be, would have been ten years ago but I really thingk the climate has changed and the shift is not good for anyone but the mountain folk who make $$$ off the snow.

We've had two lots of snow here but nowhere as deep as yours, thank goodness. Stay warm.

Thanks Mark, Silver and MM for looking in. Had another five or six inches last night but the cold snap seems to be slowly south. Now Essex is in trouble so I understand. Some 400 lorries littering the M25 after jacknifing and other accidents.
Oh to be on a motorway when winter strikes. No thanks!

We are in North Yorkshire so can sympathise with you We are in a farming community so it is handy to have the road cleared. Wrap up warm - looks like more of the same!
