Deep and Crisp and Even

Good morning to all in the Land of Blog, the Land of Shimp, the Land of the Walking Man, Shadow's Land, the BeeKeepers Land (aka BeekersLand) and everyone who inhabits the Blogosphere.

You can see how wintry it is in these parts; beautiful vistas and just wonderful for all the youngsters building snowmen, playing snowballs or just skidding along on their toboggans and sleds. Been there, done all that and the tee-shirt needs renewing - but heigh-ho - it's snow great problem!

Haven't used my mini-camcorder for a while so hope it comes through on here today. All our best wishes to everybody. Take good care of yourselves - and that's an order!

Your winter wonderland looks much the same as mine. Yesterday, there were crystals of ice on all the trees and with the sun shinning through them it looked fantastic.

I hope that 2010 will bring you more joy and more health, and more video blogging.

Merry Christmas to you and your wife.

Your part of the world looks as cold and wintry as ours. Nice to see you back at blogging and filming Philip. I appreciate very much the card you sent me for Christmas!
As my best wishes to you and Pat.

A beautiful view of your part of the world. Mine has also been covered in snow and more is expected in the next few days.

I've thought about you often and missed your posts. Hope the new year brings good health to you and Pat. All the best to you both.

Good to hear your voice - add a whipping wind and you've pretty much depicted life in my backyard as well. Keep warm!

Hi Philip,
I`ve been away over Christmas, so am just catching up with your blog.
So sorry to hear that you have both been a little under the weather, so to speak. Don`tb forget, we are not far from you,if there is anything you need or are short of transport or anything at all you must let me know. It is no trouble for me. A lovely winter's day made lovelier by your much missed narration, Philip! Some brave souled bird was kind enough to tweet enchantingly, adding to the sense of calm and peace. Thoughtful little bird!

It is so nice to have you back, Philip, with your trusty Flip video.

A very happy New Year to you, and you can see that you've already helped make a happier New Year for many :-)

Best wishes to Pat, also!

Love your video. This too shall pass. I'm looking out my back door at lots of snow too.
It's pretty once or twice, but you're SO right: I don't enjoy it for long.
Stay warm and cozy. And the happiest of New Year's wishes to you and your wife!!!

We had a little bit of snow in Ohio, but my dad's place in NC got a LOT! It was nice because it's so unusual for them to have a white Christmas...

Glad to you have back! I know I probably already said that, but it bears repeating!

Phillip other than to replenish the Great Lakes I have absolutely no use for the wretched stuff. But then I really don't bemoan it either just put on a couple of extra shirts and stockings.

Snow does have its charm Philip. However, we have none of the stuff so far here in Toronto and are happy to leave it entirely to you.

Enjoy.

My backyard and yours are almost the same (Ontario, Canada). I am glad you are back and making videos again.
All the best to you and your family in 2010.

All we had in my corner of the midlands was a bit of sleety mush and even that's gone now. Yours does look picture-postcard lovely, but snow is a bit of nuisance sometimes. Great to see you out and about again Phil. All the very best for 2010.
