Sensuous Rumba, danced to a Superb Song

Have your sound on, keep your eyes glued to this wonderful dance exhibition.

I have always loved ballroom dancing and especially this one particular Latin dance, the Rumba.

I've seen many couples demonstrating this dance of love but this one is so erotic as well as beautiful.

Not your cuppa tea?  Forgive me, but I just had to share this one and risk it.

Well, your description of the video certainly was apropos, Philip.

I am not much of a dancer, but a few years ago I was thinking about taking lessons. Unfortunately, I could not find a partner for practice sessions.

I like that song, and occasionally will listen to a few variations of it .... Frank Sinatra, Willie Nelson, Diana Krall, Nat King Cole .... but, I do not recall seeing anyone dance to it quite like this .... neat ....

Thanks Fram. You're perfectly correct of course, this song is a classic and many artistes have recorded it. My favourite vocal is probably Nat King Cole but there is a superb piano recording that I used to play at our dance evenings when we were in Scotland. Music is so evocative of times and people ... for me anyway.

Those dancers.... effortless, fluid motions, yes, I'd like to do that one day....

Hi Shadow. I'd be only too happy to partner you but my dance shoes are quite worn out, something like me.

And would YOU dare to wear that 'almost' dress? (raises brow, questioningly)

Not my cuppa tea but i will say it beats a twerking teenager thinking rubbing her bottom on a stuffed animal is erotic protest.

Hi Mark, my poetic friend from Detroit. Thanks for popping in; if you prefer a cuppa coffee I can always brew up some Nescafé Gold Blend but, as you probably know, Brits CANNOT make proper coffee. Hope all goes nicely as poss in your world.

Great stuff! It's a shame that dancing in couples like this doesn't still happen at your average club I reckon. Mt favourite is the tango. x

Which tango, Michelle? Argentinian or ballroom. The Argy one is now more popular and it's one I like to watch, but never learned to do it. The ballroom tango is one I used to dance when I was a few years younger. Hope Lardy is doing well.

My goodness. That was magical! Her dress was also - I couldn't figure out how it was staying on, so I'm going to guess she used magic. ;-)

Yes Sparks, she certainly looked the part and no mistake.

Would you believe that I was her partner in this rumba? You wouldn't? Really!
Well I DID dance this with her one night, so there. She disappeared when I awoke.

How sad that Bocelli couldn’t see this. Thank you for sharing it. Peggy is out walking, but I’ll show it to her because I know she would enjoy both him and them (she has some of his CDs).

Cheers Snowy. Yes, it's sad but it may have been too much for him; he's a devil of a ladies man by all accounts. Hope you're feeling reasonably good today dear friend.
