However, this piece is to me so relaxing and beautiful I'm just hoping that somebody who stumbles upon this blog will find it worth a listen.
It is by Secret Garden and entitled Adagio. Best in FULL SCREEN - just click in the square bottom right-hand corner of the video screen.

That was a sublime piece of music. Many thanks, you have made my evening.
Greetings from London.
Good evening ACIL and greetings from Grimsby. So pleased you liked this version of Adagio. I appreciate your stopping by. Phil.
Why, why, why can't I see the video ??? Will try the PC at work...
Dear Shadow, I'm so sorry the Adagio video didn't play for you. I do not know why, unless perhaps it is barred in certain areas? It is on Youtube and sometimes there are restrictions but it has played OK in the UK. I do hope you can see it on Youtube if not on this blog. I have listened to it so many times and each time I am close to tears as it affects me so emotionally. Silly old me, but it's true.
Wonderful. We have it on one of our Secret Garden CDS, but it was fun to see it performed.
Yep Snowy, I have heard quite a few of their songs on CDs. I think this is probably their best offering but Appassionata [White Stones album]is another I like.
Serenity in notes - how absolutely lovely! My computer is near the window to my garden so on the second play I turned up the volume, opened the window, and sat among the flowers to listen. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Pauline. Happy you dropped by and that you liked this version of Adagio.
So soothing. If real life came with its own soundtrack, how serene my life would be with that melody in the background.
Oh my! How beautiful! I hope I have saved this album to my computer... guess I will buy it as a back-up.
Others have said sublime, soothing, serene... what is left for me to say. Definitely music that touches the soul.
Thank you! I needed this today. How did you know?
And thanks for visiting My Little Corner
Thanks for popping in Possum. I enjoyed your snow-scapes today & found them most reminiscent of my garden in the Scottish Borders in most winters there. Now I'm on the east coast of England we've had only a few wispy flakes, hardly worth calling them snow.
I just checked in on your blog after quite a long time. I've always enjoyed your posts, and definitely enjoy this music!!! Its so good to see you back and writing again my friend.
